There are different types of surveys that you can come across. Most common types are the Online Surveys and Telephone Surveys. You can earn money for conducting both types of surveys.

There are a number of websites that offer online surveys for you to take up and earn money. It is similar to a printed survey form but instead of writing the answers you will have to select the answers with a mouse click and submit the form.

Paid-Surveys

Usually, a Telephone Survey is a voice message that is pre-recorded. You will be asked questions over a call and you will have to select the answers by pressing the specific number on the handset.

Online as well as Telephone Surveys are simple to understand and easy to earn. Depending on the answer you select for a certain question, the next set of questions will keep changing. Surveys are often based on specific research for specific locations. Before starting the survey, you will be asked with some personal questions to ensure you fall into the demography and that you will be the right person to give correct opinions. Personal questions may be about your age, gender, educational qualifications, annual income and the products you use regularly. It may happen that based on your answers, you may not qualify to take the survey.

A survey may comprise of a video clip or a picture and you may be asked to give your opinion or comment on it.

• Rating Survey: In this type of survey you will have to answer the questions in the form of ratings between 1 and 10.

• Written Comments: In this type of survey, you will be asked to give your opinion about a product or service describing what you like or any suggestions about the product.

• Comparison Surveys: In this type of survey, you may be asked questions based on comparison of two products.

• Written Surveys: This is a different from Written Comments as you will be asked to give a description about your liking and disliking about a product. You will have to give an in-depth response. The grammar need not be correct as you won’t be receiving any grade for filling up this survey.

The survey may vary based on the company’s requirements and the survey structure can include a combination of the above mentioned types. Companies look to target the correct audience and therefore they perform market research. As a result, they pay the consumers for marketing correctly. The results are beneficial for people taking surveys. At the same time, these surveys are fun to participate in.
